Italy Villa 24

Vacation Rental Description
Villa Twenty Four is a very spacious two-floor villa located halfway between Florence and Siena, in the enchanting Chianti region. The villa grants a quiet and relaxing stay, thanks in part to the surrounding olive groves which allow complete privacy. The estate is composed of a main villa and an annex just a few steps away. Both accommodations boast a traditional country decor and typical local architectural details, such as terracotta floors, stone walls, beamed ceilings, brick arches, and wood-burning fireplaces, all exuding a romantic Tuscan flair.

10 Bedrooms and 9 Bathrooms

First Floor: Queen bedroom with a mezzanine floor, accessible through a staircase, hosting 2 extra single beds. En suite bathroom with shower. Queen bedroom with spacious terrace with views of the countryside. En suite bathroom with hydromassage shower. Queen bedroom with en suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub. 3 Queen bedrooms, each with en suite bathroom with shower. 1 Twin/Queen bedroom with private bathroom with shower.

Ground Floor: The space in front of a fireplace is a natural gathering point, and at Villa Twenty Four you have three different areas to enjoy a friendly conversation, read your favorite book, or just relax while listening to music. The Villa’s entrance hall introduces serenity with its stone wall, baby piano, plushy upholstered sofas, and floor rugs, inviting you to unwind and recharge.

The open dining/living room is fitted with two large tables under the wrought-iron chandelier, while the red-checkered chair cushions add a touch of color and warmth. All rooms are decorated to give flair to the space. Three kitchens are on this floor as well, and all give access to the outdoor areas.

Lower Floor: Private spa center, including heated Jacuzzi tub, sauna, automatic massage bed, gym area with cardio machines, two showers, and a changing room. Massages and beauty treatments are available on request.

Additional Information: Surrounded by hills, Florence rises on the banks of the Arno River. One of the greatest art centers of Italy, Florence is home to the Accademia, where you can view Michelangelo's "David," as well as the Uffizi gallery, arguably the most important art gallery in the world.

Tour the cathedral with its pink, white and green marble façade and marvel at its remarkable Duomo by Brunelleschi and the gold Paradise door of the Baptistery. Continue to the Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of Florence since the 1300s. Then stroll by the charming jewelry shops of Ponte Vecchio. There is nothing like enjoying a morning coffee and truffle panini at the celebrated Procacci bar before setting out for a serious morning of shopping on Via Tournabuoni. Take a day to scour the Gucci, Armani and Yves Saint Laurent outlets in the outskirts of the city.

For those wishing to explore some of Tuscany's other treasures, one of the best ways to see the region is by automobile. The small fortress cities are within easy driving distance of one another, and each offers its own special appeal, from the picturesque medieval cities of San Gimignano and Volterra to Pisa with its Leaning Tower and Lucca with its impressive Renaissance walls. Visit seaside resorts like Viareggio, Elba, and Forte de Marmi. Do not forget other worthwhile Chianti sights such as the wine villages of Castellina, Radda and Volpaia.

Siena is also not to be missed. Siena is a beautifully preserved medieval city, constructed of checkerboard brick, and crowned by its Duomo. It was the seat of the Ghibellines who often crossed swords with the Florentine Guelfs during the 13th century. Other highlights of Siena include the beautiful Piazza del Campo where on July 2nd and August 16th of each year the famous Palio takes place.
