Upon your arrival at Charles de Gaulle Airport, you will be met at the plane by our VIP representative who will fast-track you through the customs, baggage and security formalities. Your driver will be there to welcome you and privately transfer you to your hotel in Paris where our company Hostess will assist you with the check-in. She will also give you a short welcome orientation, answer your questions, and provide recommendations if needed. You will have the remainder of the day to recuperate from your transatlantic flight and get settled into your Parisian “home away from home”.
Panoramic Tour of Paris
Your guide and driver will meet you in the lobby to take you on a half-day Panoramic Tour of Paris. Your customized tour will be organized by your guide in accordance with your wishes and include sites such as the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysées, the Eiffel Tower, Napoleon’s tomb at the Invalides, Montmartre, the Place des Vosges and the Gothic masterpieces Notre Dame Cathedral and Sainte Chapelle on the Ile de la Cité.

Guided Walking Tour of Historic Paris & the Musée d’Orsay
This morning, your local guide will take you on a half-day walking tour of the historic Marais and Ile Saint Louis, pointing out their hidden secrets. Enjoy lunch here in one of the many animated neighbourhood bistros and cafés.
This afternoon, your expert guide will accompany you to the Musée d’Orsay for an enlightening and
entertaining tour of the museum. This beaux-arts building, originally erected as a railway station for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, was transformed into a museum in 1986 to display art works from the period 1848-1914. Learn more about the genesis and revolutionary impact of French Impressionism in this totally iconic setting.
Louvre Museum & Bike Tour
This morning, your expert museum guide will accompany you to the Louvre for an entertaining 3-hour private tour of this magnificent palace built for the kings of France. Today, it houses the world’s largest museum with 35,000 art works on display (only a tenth of its collections)! He will personalize his tour to focus on your interests, as well as the Louvre’s masterpieces and hidden treasures.
Later this afternoon, meet your bike group at the Eiffel Tower for a fun 4-hour ride. Your Bike Tour will take you through the Saint Germain district to Notre Dame Cathedral where you can stop for an ice cream. Then follow along the River Seine through the Louvre courtyard and the Tuileries Gardens. View the dazzling City of Lights in the twilight as it gradually illuminates with thousands of sparkling lights!
Versailles Palace and Gardens
Your specialist guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby to accompany you to Louis XIV’s world-renowned Palace of Versailles, where you have a reservation to visit its spectacular interior State Apartments, Hall of Mirrors and Chapel. Afterwards, stroll through its vast landscaped gardens, visiting the Trianons and the Hamlet of Marie-Antoinette. Versailles’ importance cannot be overemphasized: it served as the center of French government and the blueprint for other royal palaces in Europe for nearly 200 years.
Loire Valley Castles - Chambord, Blois & Cheverny
This morning, your driver will privately transfer you to the Montparnasse train station and help you board the TGV for your one-hour journey to Tours (St. Pierre des Corps Station). Upon arrival in Tours, you will be met by your local driver/guide who will take you to visit the monumental Château de Chambord, the Renaissance masterpiece built for King François I. Here you can explore the innovative double-helix open staircase, attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, and admire, from the roof-top terraces, the 2500 acre hunting Estate, which is still teeming with deer and wild boar.
Afterwards, examine the Renaissance façade and loggia of the Château de Blois, favorite residence of seven French kings and queens, and stroll through the medieval town where you may have lunch.
Then visit the largest Loire Valley château still in private hands at Cheverny, which has been in the same family for six centuries. Here, you will have the opportunity to tour its magnificently furnished interiors and perhaps observe the Marquis de Vibraye’s hunting dogs at feeding time.
Finally, discover the fairytale Château de la Bourdaisière, the family castle belonging to the Prince de Broglie, where you will spend the night. You will be given a private tour of its superb gardens with its unique Conservatory of 650 varieties of tomatoes. As an aperitif before dinner, you may wish to sample the Montlouis sur Loire, the white wine produced by the Prince de Broglie on his estate.
Loire Valley Castles - Ambroise, Chenonceau & Villandry
This morning, after breakfast, take your time enjoying this fairytale castle and exploring its park.
Your driver/guide will be waiting to accompany you on a visit to the Château d’Amboise, the most
Italianate of the royal castles overlooking the Loire River. In its chapel, you will see the tomb of the Renaissance genius Leonardo da Vinci. Then visit the nearby Clos Lucé, where the inventor spent the last years of his life, and examine replicas of his visionary inventions. After lunch, discover the Château de Chenonceau, the breathtaking architectural masterpiece spanning the River Cher. Then wander through the enchanting Renaissance gardens of the Château de Villandry, and you will understand why the Loire Valley is referred to as the garden of France.
Your driver will help you board the TGV train for your one-hour return journey to Paris. Upon your arrival at the Montparnasse train station, your Paris driver will be waiting for you to privately transfer you to your hotel.
“Quartier Libre” & Moulin Rouge Cabaret
Today, you will have time to rest and enjoy the luxurious comforts of your hotel.
This evening, you have a reservation for the 9pm show at the legendary Moulin Rouge, the most famous cabaret in the world. For the past 112 years, it has welcomed international stars like Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, Edith Piaf, Elton John, Ella Fitzgerald, and Yves Montand, to name but a few. This is where the French Cancan, immortalized in the paintings of Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, originated!
“Hands-on Gastronomy” & Fête de la Musique
This morning, your master chef and driver will meet you at your hotel to take you to a typical outdoor market where you will select the ingredients for your private Cooking Class. In an authentic Parisian apartment, you will prepare a three-course meal under his expert guidance. Then, savor the results of your morning efforts during a convivial lunch, while your chef introduces you to the wine best suited to your meal.
In the evening, celebrate the Summer Solstice during the lively Fête de la Musique that fills the streets and squares of Paris with musical entertainment.
Journey to the French Riviera
This morning, your driver will privately transfer you to the Gare de Lyon train station and help you board the high-speed TGV for your 5 ½ hour train journey through the rolling hills of central France. Upon your arrival in Nice, you will be met by your driver and privately transferred to your hotel overlooking the Promenade des Anglais at Nice.
Option: A time-saving alternative to the high speed train is, of course, the Paris/Nice flight.
Principality of Monaco, Eze, and Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat
This morning, your driver/guide will be waiting to take you on a full-day tour of Monaco and the charming villages to the east of Nice. You will drive along the Corniche towards the village of Eze, stopping en route to admire the panoramic view over the bay of Villefranche, considered one of the most beautiful bays on the Mediterranean.
On your arrival in Eze, stroll through the old village and visit the 18th century church before continuing on to the Principality of Monaco. Here, witness the changing of the guard in front of the Grimaldi Palace at 11:55 (it lasts 15 minutes), and then tour the old town and the Cathedral where you will see the tombs of the princes of Monaco, including that of Princess Grace. In Monte-Carlo you can have lunch at either the Café de Paris or "Le Grill" in the Hôtel de Paris with its superb panoramic view over the Principality.
After lunch, enjoy a stroll on the square and in the gardens. Then depart for Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat on the seaside road (the lower Corniche), where you can tour the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and its lovely gardens. If you wish, you can also visit the nearby villa Kerylos, a 19th-century reconstruction of a classical Greek villa built for Theodore Reinach, the uncle of the Baronne Ephrussi, before returning to your hotel in Nice.
Saint Paul de Vence, Gourdon, Grasse, and Cannes
This morning, your driver/guide will be waiting for you in the lobby to accompany you on a full-day visit of the charming villages to the west of Nice. Upon arriving in Saint Paul de Vence, stroll through the pedestrian streets of the village and along its ramparts, visit its Romanesque church and explore its art galleries. Then continue on to Gourdon along the breathtaking Gorges du Loup road. Stop at this typically Provençal hillside village to contemplate the magnificent panorama. Here enjoy lunch on the terrace at the Nid d'aigle restaurant with its stunning views over the Côte d'Azur!
Afterwards, depart for Grasse for a private guided visit of the renowned perfume-maker Fragonard. Learn about the history of perfume and its manufacturing methods. Then conclude the day at Cannes with a stroll along the legendary Croisette, which links the Film Festival Palace to the Carlton Hotel, before returning to Nice.
Option: If you prefer to visit the Fondation Maeght, the contemporary art exhibition at Saint-Paul de Vence and/or lunch there at the Colombe d’Or restaurant, this can be substituted for either the visit to Gourdon, the perfume factory at Grasse, or Cannes. Just let your driver know your preference.
Train Journey to Paris & Dinner Cruise
This morning, your driver will privately transfer you to the Nice train station where he will help you board the high-speed TGV for your return journey to Paris (5 ½ hours) through the scenic countryside of rural France. Upon your arrival at the Gare de Lyon, you will be met by your Paris driver who will privately transfer you to your hotel. Alternatively, if you prefer to save time, you can catch the flight from Nice to Paris, and your driver will meet you at the airport in Paris.
Celebrate your last evening in Paris with a romantic Dinner Cruise. Enjoy a gourmet dinner as you glide past the monuments of Paris all reflected on the River Seine – a magical experience!
